New Found Glory Premiere ‘Radiosurgery’ Video: One Huge Party Scene

Pop punk band New Found Glory have a brand new album, Radiosurgery, coming out October 4th, and today they premiered the music video for the title track. The video was shot in the haunted Linda Vista Hospital in Los Angeles, California and the concept was based off of The Ramones, ‘I Wanna Be Sedated’ video, with a 2011 makeover. The shoot was a huge party — trust me I was there! Check out the video below!

To create this chaotic party scene (which was a mixture of fans and close friends of the band), we all were assigned random costumes (I am a ‘bird’) and actions given to us by the director. Every time we filmed another take everyone got more into character and the action got crazier and crazier. There may have been a few injuries — but overall it was a blast! The band could not have been nicer, posing with fans for photos and hanging out with us during breaks from filming.

Big shout out to Chad Gilbert for being the nicest man in rock ‘n’ roll, assuring me that my (first ever) on-screen kiss would not embarrass my parents. Overall it was a very long but incredibly fun day! I have been an NFG fan for about ten years now and am so excited for their new album and to see them on the Pop Punk’s Not Dead Tour this fall!

What do you think of the video? Are you looking forward to a new album from New Found Glory?
