Anne Hathaway to Guest Star on ‘Glee’?

With the new season of Glee starting up tomorrow, it’s no shocker that some stars are already eyeing an opportunity to guest star on the hit series – especially since Glee‘s co-creator Ryan Murphy has announced that this season will be light on the guest stars. One actress who has her eye on a spot on Glee: the new Catwoman herself, Anne Hathaway!

“I’m meeting with Anne in the next couple weeks,” Ryan Murphy told MTV News. “We’re not going to do guest stars at all the first half of the season, but I would love to work with her and she supposedly has the whole thing mapped out.”

Apparently she really does! Anne told MTV News last year what she hoped to do if she got a guest spot on the hit FOX show:

“I would want to do two duets, one with the young man who plays Kurt. And I’d want to sing a song from ‘Into the Woods.’ ”

We could TOTALLY see that happening! But of course, it isn’t completely locked down – Anne still has to wait as to what Ryan has to say.

“I’m curious as to what she wants to do,” he said. “I love her. I think she’s great.”

It may be a while till we find out if Anne is or isn’t going to be on this season of the show. Till then, enjoy the promo for the third season below:
