Question of the Day: What’s Something You’ll Never Apologize For?

We all do things that affect other people. Sometimes, those things might not be the best for them but they are good for you. Let’s say that you go to a party and there is one finger sandwich left. You show up at the tray with your BFF (soon to be ex BFF) and you grab the last samminch. Would you apologize for that or would you just point and laugh and tell them how delicious the sandwich was?

I suppose that there are more serious instances in life where we can apply this. Like when I was little, I used to cry for everything. All the way up until sixth grade, I was a machine of tears. The last time that happened, I think I threw a piece of paper at my teacher and he yelled at me and I ran away to my desk and weeped all the tears. I had really rad friends that gave me head pats and stuff to make me feel better.

He later apologized to me and then he asked me if I would apologize for making a scene in the classroom and I said that basically:

I was sent home with a Parent/Teacher note that my parents never went to because they were busy being awful people or something. Yay!

You should never have to apologize for expressing your feelings. Ever. They are yours and you should be able to let them flow in whatever manner you wish. Just you know, don’t break stuff or hurt people.
