Magical Tree Child: ‘The Odd Life of Timothy Green’ Trailer
If you’re in need of a little family magic in the summer time, then behold Disney‘s upcoming The Odd Life of Timothy Green. The story follows a couple (Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton) who have just been told that they cannot conceive a baby. They write all of their hopes and dreams for their child on paper, put them in a wooden box and bury them in the back yard. But as fate would have it, there was magic in the air that night, and a little boy shows up on their doorstep as if he had sprouted from the ground!

The film is written and directed by Peter Hedges who is the man behind such instant classics as Dan in Real Life and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? Hedges’ films usually have a slightly dark/true-to-reality feel, so what he does with this fairytale should be interesting.
The Odd Life of Timothy Green hits theaters August 15th, 2012.
