Katie Holmes Barks At Raccoons… And You Thought Suri Was the Only Child!
Katie Holmes may be surrounded by frightening things in the upcoming horror remake of Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, but haunted houses and scary creatures stay on the set and on the screen. But what scares the actress even more than the supernatural is possibly more frightful, considering it lurks in her own backyard: raccoons!
“I’m really scared of raccoons,” Katie told Jay Leno on The Tonight Show on Tuesday.
What bothers her the most, she says, is that raccoons don’t seem to fear humans.
“I was recently sitting outside, and this raccoon comes right up, and I’m expecting it to be more afraid of me,” she said. “I’m staring at it and it’s staring right back like he’s going to kick my butt! I didn’t know what to do so I just stood up and I barked at him, and then he ran away.”
The moral of the story: Don’t mess with a scared Katie Holmes! She just might bark at you!
