Jennifer Lawrence to Show Off Her Pipes in ‘The Hunger Games’
She can kick major butt in action films (hello X-Men: First Class!) but did you know that Jennifer Lawrence can sing? Production on the upcoming movie The Hunger Games is coming along in Asheville, North Carolina and according to Perez Hilton, sources at Echo Mountain Recording revealed that The Hunger Games actress Jennifer Lawrence (who plays Katniss) has been in the studio with music producer T. Bone Burnett to work on some music for the upcoming film.
According to the sources:
“T. Bone brought actress Jennifer Lawrence in to sing a haunting song he had written. The day they came in was the first day of shooting for the film but T. Bone had been working on the music for some time. If the music is any indication of how the movie is going to turn out, it’s going to be fantastic.”
If you are a fan of The Hunger Games books, you probably know what song they’re talking about!
The Hunger Games hits theaters March 23, 2012.
