The iHeartRadio Music Festival is marketed as “the biggest live music event in radio history”…that’s a pretty big claim to make, but the question remains: what even is it?
Ryan Seacrest announced today that the first-ever iHeartRadio Music Festival will be held this September 23 and 24 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand.
The history-making event will feature major pop acts like Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, David Guetta, Steven Tyler, Coldplay, The Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj and more to be announced throughout the summer.
The Clear Channel-sponsored event is named after the popular website and iphone app, which streams online radio stations similar to Pandora online radio.
Ticket presales are on now at facebook.com/iheartradio, and public on-sale starts on July 16th at Ticketmaster.com. Snatch up your tickets now if you’ll be in the Vegas area in September — this sounds like one not to miss.
