While the disaster itself is over, the truth is that Japan is still working to recover from the series of earthquakes and tsunamis that ravaged the nation on March 11th, 2011. And the international community of artists has done a fantastic job of coming together to try and raise money to help those affected by these natural disasters.

One such case is “Download to Donate.” The initiative was started in 2010 following the earthquake that devastated Haiti, and supports “Save the Children,” an independent organization focused on helping children in need all around the world. Along with the efforts in Japan, they are currently working to help children affected by the Ivory Coast Conflict, the Haitian Earthquake, the political uprising in Lybia, the floods in the Philippines and Sri Lanka and MORE.

And a donation of $10 to this group gets you access to 21 songs by artists like The Black Cards, Patrick Stump, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Flyleaf, R.E.M., Talib Kweli and MORE. Plus the collection is growing every day.

And 100% of your donation goes to charity.

21 tracks, plus more to come, for $10 to help kids affected by a crisis? That sounds like a pretty darn good deal to me.
