James Franco Isn’t Afraid To Take A Dig At Anyone, Including An Oscar Joke Writer

It’s almost been a whole month since this year’s Oscar ceremony, yet it seems that people are STILL talking about James Franco‘s hosting abilities! Which is cool if you were, say, a random person tweeting or blogging about it. But when you’re Oscar joke writer Bruce Vilanch, watch out!

When Bruce opened up to New York magazine’s Vulture blog about his opinion on James’ Oscar hosting flop, James naturally took to Twitter to take a dig at Bruce.

James apparently didn’t take Bruce’s critique too well, tweeting a picture of himself with Vilanch backstage at the Oscars with commentary drawn onto the photo, a la Perez Hilton.

James has since deleted the tweet and photo, but not before Vulture was lucky enough to grab it before he took it down.

“James f**ked up the Oscars. Trust me, I know comedy,” James scribbled on the photo, in dialogue bubbles coming from Bruce’s mouth. “I mean, come on, I write for Bette Midler!”

Low blow James.

But then again… come on Bruce, did you not learn from Yale news writer Cokey Cohen’s mistake?!

Do you think it was okay for James to tweet that photo as a response?
