Andrej Pejic for Dazed & Confused April 2011
Let me start off by saying that I ABSOLUTELY ADORE ANDREJ. His androgynous looks blur the line between male and female in a particularly entrancing way. Sometimes he looks like a man, and sometimes he looks like the prettiest girl you have ever seen—but most of the time, you don’t care that his gender is ambiguous. It adds to his beauty.
Andrej’s latest editorial is photographed by Anthony Maule for the April 2011 issue of Dazed & Confused. The shoot is conceptual and futuristic—Andrej dons huge metal accessories in muted colors and his skin is even painted in slick metallic shades. Some of the getup is too crazy to imagine even Lady Gaga wearing.
