Lady Gaga Reveals Her Lovers Use Her Real Name During Passionate, Sweaty, Glitter-Filled Love-Making

The opening to the song “Monster” involves Lady Gaga instructing the listener “Don’t call me Gaga.”

Turns out, this might well have come from a session in the singer’s bedroom. Because, as Gaga revealed to Anderson Cooper during an interview, she’s not “Lady Gaga” in bed. She’s Stefani.

Now, believe it or not, there’s a good reason this came up in conversation. Cooper asked Lady Gaga if anyone ever called her by her birth name, Stefani Germanotta. Gaga answered “Yeah, some people do. Especially in bed.”

When Cooper followed up on that answer, Gaga admitted that being called “Lady Gaga” in bed “would freak me out.”

Now, see, that makes sense to me from her perspective, but honestly? I’d rather be called “Lady Gaga” in bed than some other options. For example, being called “Lady Gaga” in bed, for me, would be better than being called:

  • by an ex’s name
  • by the name of the person my partner has been cheating on me with
  • “Bitch”
  • “My little whore”
  • Sarah Palin
  • “Mommy”

Some of these may or may not have actually happened. Just throwing that out there.

The full Cooper/Gaga interview will air this Sunday at 7PM, right before the Grammy awards, where Lady Gaga is nominated for six awards and will be performing.
