Ellen Page Joins Twitter (BRB, Plotting to Become Her Internet BFF)
So, last week we found out that Mr. I-Can-Do-Everything-No-Really James Franco had joined Twitter. And that’s pretty cool.
BUT THIS WEEK! Oh, this week another new celebrity face joins Twitter. Ellen Page is now committed to giving us 140-character updates on her life.
Seriously, I have loved Ellen Page in movies like Juno and Whip It and Inception. And hey, she was Kitty Pryde in X-Men 3! Plus, I’m REALLY looking forward to her new movie, Super, where she plays the sidekick to Rainn Wilson’s “everyman” superhero (warning, clip contains strong language. You’ve been warned):
But even bigger than that, she just seems so…cool, you know? Like, when Clarissa asked Buzznet who they’d want as their celebrity best friend, my reply was:
I want to start a girl gang with Ellen Page, Amanda Palmer and Clea DuVall.
So now, all I have to do is get the courage to ask Ellen, via Twitter, to be in my girl gang. And get her to see it. And reply. Reply with “Yes, I will be in your girl gang.”
In the meantime, I will be amused while she tweets about ducks.
