Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2011 Giraffe Shoes.
Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2011 runway show was nothing short of RAVISHING. Marc Jacobs’ Afro-Eurasian (?) inspired collection sent chi-pao dresses, fringes, tassels and models holding fans and exquisitely patterned clutches down the runway. And shoes featuring heels that resemble a giraffe’s leg! Oh Boy, are the shoes campy. I wouldn’t call them “haute couture,” but they sure are fabulous.
Though the collection was super fun, I don’t get the connection between the above photo and the below. Beijing meets the Sahara? Hmm…
