Don’t Haunt My House, Don’t Haunt My House…ALEJANDRO!

So, normally I am torn on celebrity gossip. But the thing I love about Lady Gaga gossip is that it is generally so over-the-top that if it’s true it makes me love her more and if it’s made up, well, that at least means someone had to work to come up with something creative.

Like this latest bit of gossip from Grazia Magazine: apparently, Lady Gaga has her hotels rooms searched before she arrives. No, not for roaches or bed bugs. FOR GHOSTS.

According to a source “She believes in paranormal activity and won’t take any risks when she is on the road. It’s important to her to be safe from spirits.” She also reportedly spent £30,000 (about $47,706 USD) on an electro-magnetic device she uses to detect spirits.

Before you start talking about how weird this is, keep in mind: according to a 2007 poll, slightly over 1/3 of people in the US believe in ghosts, and 23% of people claim to have seen a ghost. More than that, consider the sheer number of “paranormal” shows and specials that are out there, including Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State and Ghost Douches Ghost Adventurers.

What do you think about Lady Gaga’s possible paranormal perturbation?
