Ke$ha to Launch Fashion Line Inspired by Superheroines and Roadkill

Beyonce has Dereon. Madonna has Material Girl. And now Ke$ha will join the ranks of pop divas with clothing lines.

Ke$ha has announced in an MTV interview that she’ll be launching her own fashion line. The joke writes itself. But, hey, what can we expect from it?

Well…capes.

No, really, Ke$ha says “…there will be capes involved. I’m trying really hard to bring back capes. They’ve been out since the 1800s, it’s about time they came back.”

(Pssst: Ke$ha, capes have only been out in certain circles. Trust me, there are places where cape fashion is alive and well…)

It’s interesting to wonder what else she’ll be doing with her line, since she announced in the same interview that she and her people use some very…interesting…elements for her own outfits. You know, glitter, spandex, roadkill.

Wait, what.

Once again, this is something she has actually said, on film, so there’s record of it. “I think it’s important not to kill animals. I also think it’s an honor to the animal if it’s already dead and sitting on the side of a highway. I might as well wear it on MTV.”

I…honestly have no idea if she’s serious or not. All I can say is that, whether a Ke$ha clothing line is awesome or terrible (guess which way I’m leaning) it will be anything but boring. And will not involve pants.
