Avril’s “Alice” Song: Epic, or Wailing Fail?

The first song we got to hear from the Almost Alice soundtrack–music inspired by the Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, to be released the same day as the film–was the 3OH!3’s “Follow Me Down.” Today, Avril Lavigne’s contribution (simply titled “Alice”) hit the web.

The punk-posing princess played it for KIIS fm this morning. Ready for it?

I’ve succumbed to some of Avril’s songs in the past, I admit–but I can’t really deal with this one. I don’t think it’s a very strong song given that it’s supposed to be the title track.

What do you think?

ps. Nat from 3OH!3 did a little Q&A with us about who he’d like to invite to a mad tea party, if he had one.
