Want to Catch a William Beckett Acoustic Set?

Did you somehow not manage to get enough William Beckett in your 2008? Between numerous tours with The Academy Is…, including a mainstage gig at the 2008 Vans Warped Tour and the rocking “Bill and Trav’s Bogus Journey Tour” with We the Kings, the release of the new The Academy Is… album Fast Times at Barrington High, the video for About a Girl, oh, yeah, and the wailing and gnashing of teeth when he cut that god-like mane of hair, it seems like that wasn’t really possible to do.

But, no matter what, you might as well start 2009 out with a huge slice of Beckett going acoustic. And if you’re lucky, you can catch just that at one of a select number of Hot Topics across the USA.

Next week Adam [Siska] and I are going out on a small tour, on which I will be playing short acoustic sets inside Hot Topic stores. Our friends Ian and Alex from The Cab will be joining us as well [note to Beckett: saying “Alex from the Cab” is like saying “that girl who thinks William Beckett is hot.” Doesn’t apply to everyone, but it also doesn’t narrow it down that much]. I’m trying to see if we can play some small coffee shops on some of the days off as well… Malls, coffee shops, bowling allies, plus Adam turns 21… This is looking and feeling like the OLD old days. The All-Or-Nothing days. Adam on I on the open road with an acoustic and some friends. I hope to see you there, and I’ll let you know when more dates are added.
