Twilight Sequels Get Greenlighted
“Twilight” movie-mania is about to send fangirls into dazzle-induced seizures and—although the movie opens next week—there really is no end in sight.
Well, I guess that’s a bit melodramatic—it’ll end, just anytime soon. Summit Entertainment has given the go ahead for two sequels, and your darling Robert Pattinson has said yes to both of ’em.
“New Moon” and “Eclipse” will be adapted by the same screenwriter that worked on Twilight, and if you’re lucky, author Stephenie Meyer will keep stepping in to keep the dialogue dumbed-down. I mean, what?
No word on a movie for “Breaking Dawn,” the final book in the series, but I guess they’ve got time, eh?
