Alex DeLeon Talks to Out.com

As an up-and-coming band, the boys from The Cab seem to be handling their growing fame with a certain amount of poise. And it appears they’ve learned from their boss, Pete Wentz, about the power of embracing their gay audience. In fact, Out.com has posted an interview with Alex DeLeon, aka “Singer,” asking about the band, the music and the van.

While the interview is only three questions, Out.com takes time in their intro to praise the band, notably Ian Crawford’s guitar solos. But more than that, they draw the comparison to pop supergroup N’Sync…but making sure to point out that the boys from Vegas play their own instruments.

Best question in the interview?

Which of your songs should be the theme for a gay prom?I’m going to have to go with “That 70’s Song.” It is an ass-shaker and a crowd favorite, and never fails to get the party started. If the prom is all about having a good time and letting loose, then there is no doubt that this my pick.
